Origins
The reliability of an AED depends not only on the device itself, but also on every maintenance procedure performed throughout its service life.
For AED distributors and service providers, preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and repair services are essential to keeping AEDs ready for use when they are needed most. In addition to verifying device performance, service engineers must also complete visual inspections, instrument testing, maintenance records, and service reports. Traditionally, this process requires engineers to perform inspections on-site and then return to the service center to organize records and prepare documentation—resulting in additional administrative work and inconsistent record management.
DFS200 was designed specifically for the after-sales maintenance workflow.
With the DFS200 mobile app, AED shock testing, custom ECG waveform simulation, maintenance report generation, and optional visual inspection checklists, engineers can complete inspections efficiently on-site. When advanced analysis is required, the PC Software supports custom waveform testing and in-depth verification at the service center, creating a seamless workflow from field inspection to workshop diagnostics.
At WhaleTeq, we believe an effective AED maintenance solution should deliver more than accurate test results. It should help service teams standardize their workflow, improve inspection efficiency, and maintain complete, traceable maintenance records throughout the entire service process.
Features
Highlights
Custom ECG Waveforms for More Testing Needs
- Support for custom ECG waveform simulation enables advanced verification, troubleshooting, and application-specific testing for service centers and engineering teams.
- Conduct defibrillation tests only, with a single screen displaying defibrillation joules and waveforms simultaneously.
-
Generate professional PDF maintenance reports immediately after every inspection, improving service efficiency while maintaining standardized and fully traceable maintenance documentation.
Visual Inspection & Instrument Testing All in One Place
- Combine customizable visual inspection checklists with AED instrument testing in one standardized workflow, helping engineers complete comprehensive inspections and maintain consistent service records.
- Use indicator lights to show whether the defibrillation energy meets custom standards.
